EMZ takes over majority stake in Switzerland-based ASSEPRO Group

EMZ Partners has reportedly entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of majority stake in the Switzerland-headquartered ASSEPRO Group. Along with EMZ, ASSEPRO’s management team as well as further employees will also become important shareholders in the Group, states the agreement.

According to ASSEPRO’s CEO, Dieter Bartl, the company gets a strong partner with EMZ Partners as the new majority shareholder who completely backs and complements ASSEPRO’s growth plans and its strategic vision. Bartl has further stated that along with organic growth, advances in the development of the company’s regional presence and its continuous development will be the primary pillars of growth in the future. ASSEPRO’s clients can be convinced that the company will be consistently supplying them via its outstanding service, added Bartl.

Founded in 2016, ASSEPRO was formed through the merger of Fraumunster Insurance Experts and Swissbroke. Via solid inorganic and organic growth, the group has emerged as the leading independent insurance broker firm in the past few years and has a keen focus on SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) in Switzerland. The company provides a broad array of services comprising pension schemes, brokerage, risk management, insurance advisory, employee benefits as well as financial/pension planning.

As expressed by Klaus Maurer, EMZ’s Partner in the Munich office, the company is thrilled to acquire ASSEPRO along with Dieter Bartl and the management team. Maurer has further added that as a leading provider of risk management, insurance, and adjacent services to SMEs in Switzerland, the company believes in considerable future growth potential. EMZ will actively support ASSEPRO’s growth plans as the partner of all stakeholders and the management team at ASSEPRO, added Maurer.

ASSEPRO reportedly covers its customers via the company’s local presence counting up to 18 sites in the German-speaking region of Switzerland. Owing to the company’s long-standing experience in the risk protection of its clientele, the organization has an existing clientele base of around 8,000 SMEs.
