JotForm introduces ‘Tables’ to simplify data management for businesses

JotForm, the San Francisco-based online form building company, has reportedly introduced Tables, a new way for teams to organize, manage, and collect data in an all-in-one workspace.

JotForm Tables looks similar to a spreadsheet but acts like a database. The tool works by efficiently organizing form submission data, manually entered data, imported data in one feature-rich interface. It is powered by a sophisticated forms engine, simplifying, and streamlining data collection.

Numerous industries, such as non-profits organizations, small businesses, and schools, can use JotForm Tables to manage inventory, budget, registrations, and more. Particular use cases include sales teams garnering leads and using JotForm Tables as customer relationship management (CRM), HR professionals tracking job applications, and marketing teams coordinating campaigns.

Speaking on which, Aytekin Tank, CEO and Founder of JotForm said that spreadsheets are a great option for working with data, but they have limitations and do not work for teams looking to collaborate. Thus, the company decided to build a tool that looks similar to a spreadsheet but is more powerful as it is backed by a sophisticated online forms product, he states.

Mr. Tank added that JotForm Tables is an ideal solution for organizations that need a simple yet effective way to manage their data.

JotForm Tables offers innovative features such as formulas and calculations, advanced searching, editing, and filtering, easy sharing through email invitations or a dedicated link, access to revision history, simple data exporting, different data viewing options, 250+ table templates options, full customization of columns, and tags, and many others.

In addition to Tables, JotForm recently introduced numerous tools including PDF Editor to mechanize document generation, a report builder, and mobile forms to strengthen product offerings. JotForm Tables is now available at zero additional cost to customers and is included in free starter plans.
