HYPR launches Velocity Partner Program to enable passwordless MFA

In today’s digital and interconnected world, there is an increasing need for security given the increasing instances of security breaches, identity theft, and data hacking. Businesses across the world have been putting their best forward to develop cutting-edge authentication technologies to develop secure business infrastructure.

A similar incidence comes to light when HYPR, one of the leading providers of true passwordless security, introduced HYPR Velocity Partner Program to facilitate passwordless Multi-Factor Authentication. It is a channel-based network that will allow leading cybersecurity partners to deliver the company’s ‘True Passwordless Authentication Platform’ directly to their government and enterprise customers.

Sources cite that the new programs aim to develop an ecosystem focused on meeting burgeoning global demand to reduce the security risks, higher costs, and user frustration caused due to passwords. With HYPR’s Cloud-driven architecture and built-in ability to flawlessly integrate with several identity providers, Velocity partners can effortlessly provide customers with True Passwordless MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) for their workforce and customer environments.

Speaking on which, Larry Pfeifer who is the Founder of Consortium Networks said that True Passwordless MFA has become vital, as more and more companies realize the risk and cost related to passwords, particularly during this challenging time with remote working. As a member of this program, the company is accelerating passwordless authentication and accelerating innovation, and evolving how businesses safeguard their networks from the inside-out, he states.

Mr. Pfeifer added that with HYPR, businesses can solve the desktop MFA gap, eliminate the need for customer passwords, and offer fast login experiences their users have come to expect.

Despite millions of dollars invested in Multi-Factor Authentication, passwords remain the number one reason for breaches. By eliminating the need for passwords, HYPR removes the attackers' preferred target, all while streamlining the UX (User Experience), integrating the convenience of a smartphone with the robust security of a smart card. This also empowers users to log in faster compared to MFA involving a password.
