Johnson Controls introduces new service suite in Middle East & Africa

Global leader for sustainable and smart buildings, Johnson Controls, has reportedly rolled out new flexible service offerings for its clientele in the MEA. This new service suite is set to leverage the company’s OpenBlue digital technology to power contactless and remote services, in association with its 130-years old expertise in the provision of green building services.

This new offering has been made available from October 2020 in over 20 unique customizable alternatives catering to the surging demands for the construction of Smart, Healthier, and Safer Buildings in the region.

According to Johnson Controls’ Vice President and General Manager of Middle East and Africa, Rolando Furlong, focus on sustainability, touchless remote services, and flexible infrastructure are key developing requirements in the present day rapidly evolving market landscape. The company’s improved and inclusive services will provide superior value to its clientele, in turn providing peace of mind and optimizing operating costs, added Furlong.

For the record, Johnson’s unique service suite has been designed for addressing the needs of the Middle East and Africa market thereby offering flexibility and bringing digital capacities to customers as well as the front line service delivery personnel. These improved capabilities are also slated to enable the management and remote monitoring of an inclusive range of fire, HVAC, and controls under any circumstances, comprising emergencies and amid a pandemic.

Further, Johnson Controls OpenBlue platform brings together current IT systems, conventional operational technology, and cloud applications integrated with cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence, enabling collaboration, insight, and integration. By deploying OpenBlue, operating technologies will also be equipped to combine and communicate in a seamless manner across a broad array of systems, in turn making several functionalities such as safe environments, contact capacities, and touchless buildings, possible.

Johnson Controls’ new service suite has also been underpinned by remarkable investments in cybersecurity by the company, which has reportedly secured the globally acknowledged ISASecure Secure Development Lifecycle Assurance validation for its product development practices.
